Best design books I’ve read

The Design of Everyday Things by Don Norman is the best book to read if you want to understand more about the human nature without getting too Freudian. “Graphic Design for Everyone” is a very eye pleasing book that will introduce you to some basic terms and knowledge before getting into more serious stuff.
