Case Study - Sacred space in VR — Vietnamese Buddhist Devotees (Part 1)
Sacred space as religious architecture is where ‘believers gather to pray collectively or individually’ (Mazumdar & Mazumdar, 1993, p.233) Sacred spaces compass natural or human-made landscapes, homes, or geography inside our bodies. The experience targets Vietnamese Buddhist devotees, so they can carry out individual actions at home including chanting, taking part in retreats, as well as joining any sort of virtual gathering.
