Confidence Intervals, Margins of Error, and Confidence Levels in UX

A confidence-interval calculation gives a probabilistic estimate of how well a metric obtained from a study explains the behavior of your user population. A confidence interval is the likely range for the true score of your entire population. The margin of error and the confidence interval tell us how good our prediction is expected to be.
