Dissecting the Design of Joan is Awful

Black Mirror released it’s 6th season last week and everyone has been talking about one episode, “Joan is Awful” In it, streaming service users are able to stream content that is created in real time based off of a woman who exists in the real world, Joan. The masterfully created episode hints at a lot of different themes and controversies surrounding the use of AI even today.
