Sustainable Web Design, An Excerpt

The primary goal in sustainable web design is to reduce carbon emissions. It’s almost impossible to actually measure the amount of CO2 produced by a web product. The emissions of our websites are far away, out of sight and out of mind, coming out of power stations burning coal and gas.
