Whitespace is a general term that describes all the empty spaces in a design. Micro whitespace can come in several different forms such as leading (line space) between lines of text and kerning (space between individual letters) micro whitespace barely registers if at all with the user when done correctly.Micro whitespace is exactly what it says on the tin, it’s the amount of small empty space.
